It’s funny; I’ve always loved creative and persuasive writing. Fresh out of school I enrolled in a journalism course, hungry to write about things that mattered, things I was passionate about.
I found studying by correspondence lonely and without others to chat through ideas and arguments – I soon lost interest.
Years later finding myself in marketing and communications, the love that I’d always had for writing re-surfaced.

Devastated and hurt, it took me a long time to let those words go and despite them – believe writing wasn’t just something I wanted to do – it was something that God called me to do.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re trained to write or just have a story to share – everyone deserves the chance to be heard.
You don’t have to be technically brilliant; you just need to be passionate.

Something to consider
Kin, means a clan or tribe. Of the same inheritance. Related. Kin means family.
Kinwriters is a place for family – far and wide – to share their story.
Every family has it’s stories. From the corny in-house jokes to traditions both loved and loathed. We are filled with people from the same inheritance and yet so vastly different. Each life entwined, yet unique.
Each heart beats to the same rhythm and yet interprets how to dance differently.
Sharing stories is how people have communicated history and important facts throughout history and we believe today should be no different.
Your story is part of the collaborate story that our good and gracious God is telling across the earth and we want to hear it!
If you’re a poet, story teller, script writer, short film enthusiast, journalist or creative writer with a heart to share the gospel through your gift – then we’d love to hear from you!
